Cog night 2010

This was a bit of an impromptu Friday night piss about in Southampton. Duncan and I had a bit of a burn around town which was nice considering the bike muscles hadn't seen a pedal for a few days. Mark of BFG caught the ferry from Hythe to Southampton, so the ride was on.

It guess it's worth mentioning that if you plan to ride Calshot velodrome (which I was told is the steepest banked velodrome in the UK) then this is the ferry to get if you're traveling through or from Southampton.

After having met Mark and checked out his new Charge Scissor, which is pretty damn sick, we headed into town where a few more BFG lads just so happened to be lurking. It always seems that these BFG lads are always really stoked on riding, so much so that they travel high and low to hook up with other fixed gear victims like myself. It was great to get out on the bike in the evenings again, even if it is still dark.
It looks like Cog nights are here to stay in 2010, so heads up people, now the spring is on it's way these nights look to be more regular.
